Every day, young people age out of state care with no family to call, no home to return to, and no one to turn to. The MOBAK Foundation steps in. We provide the essential safety, stable housing, guiding mentorship, and lasting support they need to thrive. Together, we can ensure that no child has to walk into adulthood alone.
Every number reflects a young person given safety, nourishment, guidance, and a real opportunity to thrive.
“MOBAK believed in me before I believed in myself.”
At 12, Anil entered a Children’s Home carrying years of abuse and loss. By 18, he was bright, determined—and completely alone. He earned admission to study Engineering, but without family, food, transportation, or guidance, his dream felt impossible.
MOBAK stepped in with mentorship, emotional support, life-skills coaching, and stability. For the first time, Anil felt seen and rooted.
Today, he is thriving at university, rebuilding confidence, and shaping a future defined by purpose—not trauma.
Your support helps youth like Anil turn survival into success.
From Sleeping on a Bench to Graduating from University
At 18, Keron aged out of care and became homeless. By day, he attended school. By night, he slept on a bench inside a community centre—hiding his reality from everyone. Exhausted and hungry, he nearly gave up.
Then someone connected him to MOBAK.
MOBAK provided safety, education support, life-skills training, and consistent adults who never left. They walked with him from survival to stability.
Today, Keron is a university graduate with stable housing and employment.
Your generosity turns homelessness into hope—and futures into reality.
“MOBAK gave me consistency for the first time in my life.”
Marvin changed schools nine times before turning 18. His childhood was marked by instability, homelessness, and abuse. When he arrived at MOBAK, he finally found what he’d never had: consistency.
With stable housing, caring adults, and daily support, Marvin discovered his potential. He completed his Dental Assistant certification, secured steady employment, built savings, and learned independent living skills.
Today, Marvin lives in his own apartment, supports himself, and continues to grow with confidence.
Your support helps young people rise when stability is finally within reach.
“For the first time, I’m proud of my life.”
Keon lost both parents, endured abuse, and lived on the streets before coming to MOBAK at 17. Trauma, court matters, and instability made employment feel impossible.
With counselling, job coaching, budgeting support, and steady guidance, Keon rebuilt his life step by step. He pursued culinary training, secured full-time work, and has held the same job for over a year.
Today, Keon lives independently and knows he’s not alone—MOBAK still walks with him.
Your support turns survival into independence.
From the Park Bench to a Place of Belonging
For over a year, Kadeem lived in a park, battling hunger, mental illness, and addiction alone. By 22, he believed his life was beyond repair.
MOBAK provided intensive mental-health care, substance-use support, daily routines, and a safe home. Slowly, Kadeem healed. He found work, began training in the trades, and—most powerfully—was reunited with a family member who welcomed him home.
Today, he is working, healing, and building his future.
Your generosity saves lives others have forgotten.
From Almost Dropping Out to Finding Family
At 17, Kiran was months from graduating—but aging out of care meant losing his home before finishing school. With no family to turn to, his future was uncertain.
MOBAK provided safety, consistency, and adults who showed up every day. Kiran stayed in school, regained confidence, and was elected Student President. He graduated with honours.
Through MOBAK’s permanency work, Kiran was also connected to a caring family who chose him for life.
For Kiran, support became belonging.
Your gift helps youth finish school—and find family.
