The MOBAK Foundation’s Youth Transitional Programme offers a residential and non-residential options that assists young people to successful transition into adulthood.
The Program offers takes youth through a rite of passage journey that helps them to develop and pursue their goals, and supports them to identify, access, and navigate adult service systems relevant to their specific needs.
At MOBAK we work to connect youth to new or existing supports and resources within their communities including housing supports, education resources, employment services and training, life skills training (e.g. financial and household management), health and mental health services, and legal services.
Residential Program
MOBAK residential programme provides safe spaces for youth as they transition into adulthood. MOBAK works with young people through unique model that offers mentors and other life supports that provides a supportive circle to young people.
Currently, MOBAK Foundation manages the following residential programs:
MOBAK House – A home that caters to young men ages 18 years to 25 years who have either aged out of the foster care system and/or who at risk of experiencing homelessness.
The home is a place where young men can foster life skills, become part of a community that supports their transition into adulthood.
The Home features a:

• Single Bedrooms
• Study area with computers
• Outdoor area
• WiFi
• Cable TV

• Life skill workshops
• Strong Community among members of the home
